The legend of the Bell Witch comes to life for a group of college students as they decide to have a séance at the Bell family graveyard. What could possibly go wrong?

In 1969, three college boys stumble upon a book about the Bell Witch, a well-known and well-documented local legend in northern Tennessee about a spirit that haunts members of the Bell family, causing them to commit suicide.  Egged on by Tiller who is always looking for a good time, the boys call a group of friends for what sounds like a fun adventure. It doesn’t take long for strange and unexplained events to start happening.

As a storm whips up outside, Betsy lights candles, and everyone settles on cushions. The setting is perfect for a séance, which is led by the mysterious Vera. As the storm intensifies, the friends decide to take a road trip to see if they can find the Bell mansion and graveyard where the Bell family is buried. It turns out to be a night they will never forget..
