“Christmas in the Keys”

Twelve-year-old Ben Stewart and his best friend, Becca, find an old bottle at the beach with something inside that makes them believe they’ve found a treasure map. It is a way to help Ben’s grandpa, Charlie, save his beloved ice cream parlor and bring back the magic of Christmas. 

Charlie Stewart, 60s, owns “Good Stuff” an ice cream parlor on the famous Duval Street in Key West Florida. He believes if you have any kind of problem, and it cannot be fixed with ice cream, he will find some other way to fix it. This philosophy has finally caught up with him, creating huge financial trouble, and putting his ice cream store in jeopardy. The bank is threatening foreclosure. The shop is Charlie’s legacy. He must find a way to keep it and take care of his family. To top all, it is his favorite time of the year, Christmas. His favorite 12-year-old grandson, Ben, accidentally becomes aware of Charlie’s problem. He, and his best friend Becca, find an incredibly old bottle with a treasure map inside while doing community service for Captain Winkle, whose tugboat they vandalized. Ben and Becca go on an adventure with Captain Winkle to try to find the treasure. Ben’s hope is that the treasure will save his grandpa and “Good Stuff” making this the best Christmas ever.
