The legend of the Bell Witch comes to life for a group of college students as they decide to have a séance at the Bell family graveyard. What could possibly go wrong?

In 1969, three college boys stumble upon a book about the Bell Witch, a well-known and well-documented local legend in northern Tennessee about a spirit that haunts members of the Bell family, causing them to commit suicide. Even though he scoffs at the idea of a spirit encounter, Paul proposes they try to contact the Bell Witch. It doesn’t take long for strange and unexplained events to start happening.

As Barney lights candles and everyone settles on cushions, the setting is perfect for a séance, which is led by the mysterious Vera. When the spirit of Betsey Bell appears and singles out Mary, Vera convinces the group that they need to go to the Bell farm and graveyard where the Bell family is buried. It turns out to be a night they will never forget.
