In the fall of 1969, a group of college friends seeking a thrill unwittingly awaken something ancient and vengeful. After discovering a forgotten book on the infamous Bell Witch—an entity blamed for generations of madness and death—they attempt a séance. But when the candles are lit and the first shadow moves, it's already too late. Led by the enigmatic Vera, the séance spirals when the spirit of young Betsey Bell appears, drawn to Mary, and only Mary. Paul insists they finish what they started... at the Bell family graveyard. What began as a fun game turns into paranoia and reality unravels. Their journey becomes a descent into inherited terror, where the line between possession and prophecy fades—and the Bell Witch decides who lives... and who joins her.

Ruby's House

After living with my mother for the last decade of her life, I realized what a truly remarkable life she lived and the historical significance of her story. The current immigration crisis in this country and countries around the world make this story about a Slavic immigrant’s struggle to climb out of poverty even more compelling.

“My Mom and Dad, William and Veda Shoda came to the United States in 1906, through Ellis Island. They spoke a little English, not much. My Mom’s maiden name was Veda Boich and my dad is Willian Shoda and they both were from Zagreb, Yugoslavia. Zagreb is near Split"

America has always held promise for a better life for immigrants past and present -- an America where hard work, struggle, and perseverance resulted in the opportunity to achieve the American dream. This is the heartfelt story of one immigrant’s family. William had a dream for his family to live free. Veda gave William the strength to work hard, Ruby gave William the faith to persevere, and Mary became the glue that kept his dream alive.

"It’s Nothing Personal” is a film about four generations of one family brought together by an unexplainable event. The point is - being aware of something doesn’t make us want to change. Unfortunately, humans only change when we are affected personally, as individuals. We have seen what happens when a few brave spirits demand change throughout our history. Now, our thoughts are no longer limited in scope with what happens on this planet. We are on the verge of game-changing discoveries concerning our place in the universe. We are part of a bigger picture and our role demands global social responsibility or we will surely suffer the consequences. My hope is that this film will help remind humanity to start making better choices and to realize our unlimited potential as one race, on one planet, in one universe. Before it’s too late.
